I didn’t personally know Tony, but he and his family attended my church, Palmcroft Baptist. By all accounts, Tony was a wonderful Christian guy, serving the Lord in his community.

Tony was a member of the Glendale Police Department. Tony went to help a fellow officer when a routine traffic stop went bad. Tony was shot and killed aiding that officer. It was February 19, 2007 and Tony was 24.

The Anthony Holly Foundation was established to support the causes Tony had personally supported during his life. April 3rd there is a race to raise funds for those causes. If you are in the Phoenix area, you might want to participate.

“Tony was born in 1982, and though his life was much too short, he impacted many others in such a positive way. He was a happy, bright child with a never-ending smile and big blue eyes. He carried that smile into adulthood, and made it his personal goal to make others happy, and to give of himself.

He loved life, loved his family, and carried a strong faith in God always. He will be most remembered for his sense of humor, his sense of honor, and for the wonderful soul that he was. Time spent with Tony was rewarding, uplifting, comforting and fun, and it was difficult to leave his presence without a laugh in your heart and a smile on your face.”
